Milous Schwartz

Milous Schwartz, 83, of Du Quoin, passed away at 6:35 A.M., Sunday, December 8, 2002 at the Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin.
Mil was a retired baker at the Schwartz Bakery which his family operated for ten years. He was also a retired machinist at Turco Mfg. Co. He was of the protestant faith. Mil was a Life Member of Du Quoin VFW Post 513 and a member of the Du Quoin American Legion. He was a US Army veteran of W. W. II.
He was born January 11, 1919 at Du Quoin, IL the son of Anton and Bessie (Vender) Schwartz.
He married Edith Teel on October 14, 1950 at Carbondale, IL and she passed away October 6, 1987.
He is survived by three daughters- Ann Broderick of Gray Summit, MO, Bessie Schwartz of Du Quoin and Joann Miller of Elkville. He is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Funeral services were at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 10, 2002 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Gary Pate officiating.
Friends called from 10 to 11 A.M. Tuesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Interment was in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.
Military graveside rites were conducted by the Du Quoin VFW Post 513.
